Review: Sing Along with Putamayo

This is another great release from the always reliable Putumayo World Music. "Sing Along with Putumayo", a twelve track disc, is loaded with easy-to-sing along to songs that both children and adults can easily learn together. The mood of these songs is nice and easy. There are no annoying songs like you may find with other typical kids music series where they scream and repeat the same lines over and over again. In this collection your children will be learning some of the great classic sing along songs performed by a talented group of performers. This is one of the many albums that the Putumayo group has put together and each one is as original as the last. Not only is their twist on the music great, but their cover art and designs are as well. I could play this CD in the car and enjoy hearing my kids sing along to this for hours at a time and never get tired of it. I would recommend this album to parents everywhere. Some of the tracks in this set are “Bling Blang,” “Old MacDonald had a Farm,” “You are my Sunshine” and “I will be your Friend.” - Chris B.
